Friend Poems

Together
I just wanted you guys to know that I put those three candles back together...read the entry before this. - Shannon

Three Candles
Right now I am sitting at my computer desk with three candles lit in front of me. Each candle represents one of us. One candle is small and enclosed on all sides by glass except for the top. This one represents you, Consuela. You are surrounded by lots of people at school; they represent the glass. But you aren't true friends with everyone, are you? That is why the opening at the top is small, and you only let your truest, most best friends into it. The larger one is you, Jordee. It sits on a glass candle-holder. But it is surrounded by nothing but air on the outside. Every molecule of air is one of your friends. But in the center of the candle, there is a ring. The ring makes a small hole in the center which seperates your regular friends from your closer friends. The other candle represents me. That candle is sitting on the other side of the table. Its flame has burned so long, the wax does not have time to melt and it is almost overflowing. The candle's heart is crying for she does not wish to be alone. The two other candles sit together, also crying. Between them sit a notebook. And yet, when I stand up, I can smell their sweetness all mixing together above the notebook. Even though the candles cannot be phisically together, their hearts still linger side by side by side. And that is not a mistake for there are three of us. But together, in our hearts' smoke, we make one. - Shannon

Once by Jordan
You touched my heart once,
Filled it with laughter, happiness, joy.
'Made the sun shine once,
As it cascaded slowly behind the hills.
You washed away my tears once,
Helped me over my solemn problems of which I could not
speak.
'Chased away the clouds once,
When you rode in on your gallant white stallion.
You said you loved me once,
'Made me wonder if you meant it.
'Took time to care once,
You picked me up after I had fallen.
You made me laugh once,
Just because you came into my life.
You touched my heart once,
And to me, that's what matters.

The Miracle Inside by Jordan
The miracle lies within, A place so purely taken by the carrying of the waves. The miracle lies beneath, A spot with such ferocity and firey past. The miracle, the miracle? The miracle could be anything. Whether blossom, or place, or certain event, The miracle will always lie. It will fool you into the most courageous situations, Which you must fight to get out. No one really knows what exactly the miracle is, But one thing is certain, It is coming.

Turn up the volume!
Shannon and Consuela- turn up your volume! Not too loud, but Shannon, I think you'll find a surprise in store! It's really cool! I hope you like it.

I Will be There by Shannon
If you are threatened, Do not be afraid, For I will be there to calm your fears. If you are chased, You will not be alone, For I will be running at your side. If you are cornered, You will not be there for long, For I will get you out. If you are grabbed, You will be released, For I will release you. If you are taken, You will be brought back, For you are needed by your loved ones. If you are ever harmed, I will be waiting for you in the heaven above, For I cannot live one day without you.

I Spotted You by Shannon
I was walkin' along by the river When I spotted you. You didn't see me But I did see those beautiful eyes and your bright colored shoes. And I did not speak. But those wonderful lips did remind me Of what I wanted to do. I was walkin' alone in the park When I spotted you. But you didn't have a clue That I was spyin' on you. And I did not speak. But I couldn't resist of lookin' at those wonderful lips And I knew what I wanted to do. I was walkin' along, right down my street When I spotted you. I was spyin' on you But this time you knew. And I did not speak. But I looked at those wonderful lips And finally, I did what I came to do!

Simple Joys by Rose
:SIMPLE JOYS:
Warm hugs.
Loving parents.
Hot chocolate.
Giving gifts.
Feeling appreciated.
A good friend.
Smiling for no reason.
A laugh of sadness.
A cry of happiness.
Horses.
School.
True love.
:SIMPLE JOY:

Silver Keys
A ring of a bell,
The song begins,
Eyes glide upon them all.
I watch down,
Watch as a tear slides down my cheek.
I smile, happily.
I never knew it before,
But perhaps now, I have realized how much
I truly appreciate you.
It's the middle of the tune,
You smile back.
You continue playing,
Playing out your heart.
Now I know how much I appreciate you,
To have as a friend,
And to have you go away,
Kills me.
I will never see your shining face,
Never see your starry notebook.
I'll never see you press down those silver keys.
But I'll always remember you.

-Rose
Do you like it? I wrote it quickly so there's a few mess ups, but... over all? Oh and Shannon, this is a great idea! Do you mind if I fix it up a little bit? Make it look pretty?

By Rose "Never Meant"
I never meant to hurt you,
Never meant to make you cry.
Never meant to crush your dreams,
Take your star out of the sky.
I never meant to hurt you,
Never to make you feel this way.
Never meant to lie to you,
To take your life away.
I wish you could forgive me,
But in my heart I understand.
My life is worth nothing,
But I'll still take your hand.
I'll guide you if you need help,
Even if you won't guide me.
And if you become famous,
I'll still be there to see.
So tell me please, and tell me quick,
If you are still my friend.
Tell me we have a relation,
That will never, ever end.
